Arogya Sathi focuses on healthcare access, medical support, health awareness, referrals and assistance in connecting vulnerable individuals with appropriate healthcare services.
Purpose
The purpose is to reduce barriers to healthcare for vulnerable people and help them access appropriate medical services, health information and referral support.
What We Can Do
The project can conduct health awareness activities, healthcare access campaigns, medical referrals, health screening facilitation, telehealth referrals where appropriate and support in navigating available healthcare services. It can also coordinate with qualified healthcare professionals and institutions.
Internship & Experiential Learning
Interns can participate in health awareness campaigns, community outreach, healthcare resource mapping, documentation, appointment referral coordination and programme support, within appropriate professional and safeguarding boundaries.
Need of Support
Support is required for healthcare outreach, medical referrals, health awareness materials, transportation assistance, essential healthcare support and community programmes. Partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions can strengthen the project.
Expected Outcome
The project aims to improve healthcare access and awareness among vulnerable individuals and help beneficiaries connect with appropriate medical and referral services.
