Focus
Telemedicine, digital health literacy and technology enabled healthcare access.
Purpose
To help individuals and communities understand and appropriately use available digital healthcare services, particularly where distance, mobility or limited local healthcare availability creates access challenges.
What We Can Do
The initiative can facilitate access to appropriate telehealth services, provide digital health awareness, assist communities with basic technology navigation and promote awareness of legitimate digital healthcare resources and referral pathways.
Internship & Experiential Learning
Interns can develop practical experience in digital health support, technology assistance, community training, user coordination, digital content development, programme administration and data documentation.
Need of Support
The initiative may require computers or tablets, reliable internet connectivity, digital infrastructure, technical volunteers, appropriate healthcare partnerships and community level digital support facilities.
Expected Outcome
The initiative aims to improve digital health literacy, reduce technology related barriers, support appropriate access to healthcare services and strengthen the use of technology for community health.
