Community capacity building, local leadership and strengthening of community institutions.
Purpose
To develop the capacity of rural communities to identify local challenges, participate in decision making and contribute to sustainable village development.
What We Can Do
Facilitate leadership development activities, community meetings, capacity building programmes, local planning exercises and awareness initiatives that encourage community participation.
Internship & Experiential Learning
Interns can participate in community consultations, rural research, leadership programmes, field surveys, meeting coordination, documentation and local development projects.
Need of Support
Support may include training resources, community meetings, leadership development programmes, field activities, technical guidance and capacity building materials.
Expected Outcome
Stronger community participation, improved local leadership capacity, better understanding of development priorities and more effective community involvement in village development.
