Purpose
To create accessible spaces where children, youth and community members can read, learn, research and develop a habit of continuous learning.
What We Can Do
Community libraries, reading spaces, digital learning resources, study facilities, educational reference materials, self learning programmes, knowledge sharing activities, research resources, learning workshops and community learning programmes.
Internship & Experiential Learning
Research internships, library management exposure, documentation projects, research assistance, educational content projects and knowledge management activities.
Need of Support
Many communities lack affordable and accessible learning spaces, books, digital resources and structured environments for self learning. Support can help provide books and reference materials, computers and digital resources, library furniture, internet connectivity, educational subscriptions and resources, learning infrastructure and library and programme staff.
Expected Outcome
Improved reading habits, self learning, research exposure, knowledge access and community learning.
