Focus
Mahila Nyaya Sahayata focuses on legal awareness and access to support information for women, including awareness of relevant rights, protections and available legal and support mechanisms.
Purpose
The purpose is to help women understand appropriate legal support pathways and connect them with qualified professionals and relevant institutions when they face rights related or legal difficulties.
What We Can Do
The project can conduct women focused legal literacy programmes, rights awareness sessions, legal resource information campaigns and referral support. Activities can cover appropriate legal and support mechanisms according to community needs and applicable law.
Internship & Experiential Learning
Law students, social work students and interns can participate in awareness campaigns, research, documentation, educational content preparation and community outreach under appropriate supervision and safeguarding practices.
Need of Support
Support is required for legal awareness camps, educational resources, professional consultations, outreach, referral services and community programmes. Collaboration with qualified advocates and appropriate support organisations is important.
