Focus
Green Communities focuses on sustainable villages, eco friendly practices and community led environmental action. The project promotes collective responsibility for creating cleaner, greener and more sustainable communities.
Purpose
The purpose is to integrate environmental sustainability into community development and encourage residents to identify local environmental challenges and participate in practical solutions.
What We Can Do
The project can conduct community clean up drives, tree plantation, waste management awareness, water conservation activities, green space development, sustainability campaigns, environmental education and community action programmes.
Internship & Experiential Learning
Interns can participate in community surveys, environmental assessments, sustainability campaigns, project planning, field activities, volunteer coordination and documentation. They can gain practical experience in environmental and community development.
Need of Support
Support is required for community activities, environmental materials, plantation and maintenance, awareness campaigns, field programmes and volunteer mobilisation. Institutional partnerships can help communities develop longer term sustainability initiatives.
Expected Outcome
The project aims to strengthen community participation in environmental protection and encourage the adoption of practical green practices for cleaner and more sustainable communities.
