Purpose
To improve access to basic health screening opportunities, particularly for communities where healthcare services may be difficult to access, while encouraging people to seek appropriate professional medical advice when required.
What We Can Do
The initiative can facilitate community medical camps and health screening activities in collaboration with qualified healthcare professionals, along with health awareness sessions and appropriate referral support for individuals who may require further medical evaluation.
Internship & Experiential Learning
Interns can learn about medical camp coordination, community mobilisation, participant registration, programme administration, documentation, data management, logistics and public health programme implementation.
Need of Support
The programme may require support for qualified medical professionals, screening equipment, suitable venues, healthcare supplies, transportation, community mobilisation, volunteers and programme administration.
Expected Outcome
The initiative aims to improve access to basic screening, increase awareness of preventive healthcare, encourage timely consultation with qualified professionals and strengthen connections between communities and appropriate healthcare services.
